this is the tutorial for giving your image a vintage effect!
1. open your image.
2. right click on the background layer and click "duplicate layer."- screenshot
3. go to filter>blur>gaussian blur. this box should show up- screenshot
adjust those settings to how you think it should look. all images vary. your image should then look a little bit softer like this:
4. next, add a new layer by clicking on the colored red area shown in this picture- screenshot
5. then go to select>all. there should be a moving dotted line around the image now.
6. go to your colors table. open up the tab that says "color." click on the larger square and change the color to "00e5d." the red text in the picture is where you will change the code for that color- screenshot after changing it, click OK.
7. take the paint bucket and fill the whole image with that blue color.
8. then, go to your layers/channels/paths table. see the dropdown box under the tabs that says "normal"? change that to "excluson." like this- screenshot your image should looke like this:
9. then, save your image. and voila! you're finished :D enjoy your vintage-looking image(:
